Overview
Energy upgrades can lower electric bills and improve the health of residents, but for many Nevada families, they are just out of reach. To help close this gap, the Nevada Clean Energy Fund and Google announced their collaboration on the innovative RE-UP Grants Program. This local initiative will cover essential home repairs and efficiency upgrades—delivering lower utility bills and safer homes at no cost to Nevada residents.
The RE-UP Grants Program is made possible by a $5 million investment from Google’s Energy Impact Program, which is designed to improve energy affordability for residents near its data centers.
More Households. More Savings.
RE-UP Grants are available to households earning up to 120% of Area Median Income, exceeding the eligibility limits of many public assistance programs. By installing high-efficiency equipment, the program will significantly lower participant energy bills.
